Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Catania to begin this day trip. Ready to immerse yourself in Sicily's beauty and charm? Let's go!
After 1 hour and 15 minutes on a minibus, we'll reach the Vendicari Natural Reserve. Once we've arrived at this natural paradise, we'll go on a guided tour to explore its incredible biodiversity. Flamingos, turtles, and an extensive Mediterranean flora are some of the treasures that await us. Afterwards, you'll have some free time to relax, wander around at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery. Can you imagine more postcard-pretty views?
We'll then head back to the minibus and set off towards Marzamemi. After 30 minutes, we'll reach this charming fishing village, known for its peaceful atmosphere and colourful houses along the seafront. Here, you'll have 1.5 hours to explore the area at your own pace. You can wander down its streets, visit small local shops, and even grab yourself a tasty lunch in one of the local restaurants.
Next, we'll visit the Tonnara ruins in Marzamemi, an old structure used to fish tuna, before heading to Noto. Once here, we'll go on a 1.5-hour guided tour through its streets. This location is considered the Baroque capital of Sicily
—the churches, palaces, and ornamental balconies are sure to astound you!
We'll even stroll past the famous Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the city's main street, and admire gems like the Cathedral San Nicolò. Did you know that this city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? You'll love it!
After this cultural immersion, we'll begin our journey back to Catania and, after a total of 8 hours, we'll say our goodbyes back at your hotel.
