Our Private Tours
When booking, you can choose from the following off-roading routes around Angra dos Reis. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off. Here are the highlights of each experience:
Gordas and Éguas Beaches, Esmerald Pool, and Água Encantada Waterfall (6 hours)
First, we’ll head to the Costeirinha viewpoint, where you can take photos and admire the sea from above. Did you know that sea turtles are often spotted swimming near the coast in these waters? Keep your eyes open!
We’ll continue to Praia das Gordas, a beach with calm waters and lush vegetation that will make you feel like you’re in paradise. Shortly afterward, we’ll reach Praia das Éguas. We’ll spend around 40 minutes at each beach to enjoy the scenery.
Next, our off-roading adventure will take us deep into the jungle to discover Poço Esmeralda and its waterfall. There, you’ll have about 20 minutes to cool off, swim, and enjoy the surroundings.
The final stop will be at the Agua Encantada Waterfall, where we’ll spend about 2 hours. Here you can swim in its natural pools and have lunch on your own at its restaurant, surrounded by tropical rainforest. Can you think of a better setting to savor the region’s cuisine?
After this experience, we’ll return to your hotel with the feeling of having discovered the most authentic side of Angra.
Águas Quentes, Laboratório & Secreta Beaches, and Chácara do Ouro (7 hours)
On this off-roading route, we’ll begin with a 15-minute stop at the Angra Nuclear Observatory. From here, you’ll admire the landscape of bays, lush islands, and the ocean stretching into the distance. Perfect for your first photos of the day!
We’ll then continue to Praia de Águas Quentes, where we’ll spend 40 minutes enjoying the warm currents flowing between granite rocks while colorful fish swim through the clear waters.
Next, we’ll head to Praia do Laboratório, where you’ll have another 40 minutes to relax in calm waters surrounded by coastal vegetation and seabirds gliding overhead. Our next stop will be Praia Secreta, an almost untouched beach where we’ll spend another 40 minutes immersed in a wilder, more secluded landscape.
We’ll then return to the off-road vehicle to visit Chácara do Ouro and its waterfall, arriving after a 30-minute drive. Here, you’ll have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to enjoy lunch at your own expense while taking in this beautiful corner of the Atlantic Forest.
