We'll meet at the designated time at 224 Banff Avenue, one of the city’s main boulevards. From this central spot, we'll begin our free walking tour to discover the heart and soul of Banff, a charming town nestled in the Canadian Rockies. Ready to uncover its secrets? Let’s get started!
As we stroll, we'll explore the deep connection between the Indigenous Peoples and the surrounding mountains, delving into the cultural and spiritual ties that have shaped this land for generations, many of which are still very much alive today.
Our walk continues down Banff Avenue, where we’ll share fascinating stories and fun facts about this iconic street. Along the way, you’ll admire the town’s distinctive rustic architecture and be captivated by the elegance of some of its most notable buildings.
As we approach the Bow River, we'll stop to admire one of the most impressive landscapes in the area. Here, nature and history intertwine in a dreamlike setting. This will serve as the perfect backdrop to learn about the “tourist fever” that turned this once small town into one of the most visited destinations in Canada.
