Explore the famous vineyards of the Penedès when you take our fantastic off-roading tour through this beautiful area of Catalonia. This amazing experience also includes a tasting of delicious regional wine and cava.
At the designated time, we'll meet at Carrer de Martí i Franquès, 21, and from this spot in Barcelona, we'll head to the Penedès region, an idyllic area of Catalonia nestled between Barcelona and Tarragona, famous for its rich wine.
Once we get to the Penedés, we'll jump into our vehicle and take a brilliant off-roading tour to the vineyards of the region. During our 40-minute tour, a wine expert will tell you all about the characteristics of the vines, the cultivation process, and the techniques used to keep the grapes in perfect condition during all seasons of the year.
On the route, we'll hear all about the fascinating history of Penedès and some of the legends that surround it. Penedes Wine is among the most famous in Spain and is highly regarded all over the world. The region, which stretches from the coast to the highlands, is perfect for growing an unusually wide range of grapes.
At the end of the off-roading tour, we'll move from theory to practice with a tasting of four delicious Penedès wines and four other Catalan cavas. You'll savor their aroma and taste, and learn to distinguish the main particularities that differentiate each wine. The drinks will all be accompanied by a wide range of regional tapas.
At the end of this brilliant experience, we'll hop back on the bus and take you back to the meeting point in Barcelona.
