Morella Day Trip

We'll meet at the designated time at the Benicassim Tourist Office and board the minibus that'll take us to Morella, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

After a 90-minute journey, we'll arrive in this small, southeastern municipality. As soon as we arrive, we'll be welcomed by the majestic San Miguel Gate. In addition to this breathtaking entrance, Morella also has 1.2 miles (2 km) of city walls, 10 towers, and 7 gates - it was once a medieval fortress!

We'll tour Morella's old town, which is full of stately mansions, stone porticoes, and gates that allowed access to the walled area. You'll also have some free time to have some food before we continue our day trip.

If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love our next stop! We'll visit an artisanal honey shop, where you'll learn about the products made by Morella's locals. Just a few metres away from the shop stands the elegant Morella Basilica, which is the municipality's most important church. We'll also step inside so you can admire its meticulously decorated interior.

Afterwards, we'll visit the exterior of Morella Castle, where we'll tell you all about its fascinating history. You'll then have 1 hour of free time so you can visit the castle or have some lunch in a local restaurant.

After enjoying this free time, we'll return to the meeting point in Benicassim, where we'll conclude this 10.5-hour day trip.
