At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and start our comprehensive tour of the southern region of Cappadocia. Are you ready to begin the so-called green tour?
Our first stop is the Red and Rose Valleys, where we'll take a hike through these wonderful landscapes. This area in southern Cappadocia is famous for the paths that link its tiny villages. We'll stroll through both valleys so you can appreciate all the different colours of the unique rock formations.
We'll continue our tour of South Cappadocia at the village of Çavuşin, a labyrinth of pretty houses carved into the hillside rocks. You will hear all about the history of this region and the different communities which have inhabited it over time.
Continuing the green tour, we'll head to the Kaymakli Underground City. As the name suggests, it is a completely subterranean network of caverns and tunnels which was used as a refuge from the many invasions which Cappadocia suffered throughout history.
Finally, after a 6-hour tour, we'll drop you back at your chosen meeting point.
