At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and begin this craft beer tour of Caxias do Sul. Ready? Let's go!
During the tour, we'll discover in-depth the production techniques and taste one beer at each of the breweries we visit. We'll start at Inmaculada Brew, the first craft microbrewery in Caxias do Sul. The origin of its name comes from the famous fountain of Inmaculada Concepción, a church in the city.
We'll continue the tour at the Felsen craft brewery factory, whose products stand out due to their extraordinary quality. In fact, in 2017, its lager variety was chosen as the best beer in Brazil. In its facilities, you'll discover the history of these two brothers who created this popular company.
Afterward, we'll head to Fábrica, a cultural culinary complex where you'll find the Salvador brewery. This brewery started its activity by producing 1585 gallons (6000 liters) per month in its bar. The space has 15 taps and a large garden, where you can perfectly see the ruins of the former brewery that existed at this site in the year 1947.
Last but not least, we'll visit the UFF Bier brewery, created in 2011 by Peter Brugger and Fernando Faccioli. UFF in German is an expression that imitates the barks of a dog. Want to know more about this site and its interesting name? You'll find out here!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll arrive after a total of 10 hours.
