Huancas & Sonche Canyon (3.5 Hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the selected time and drive to Huancas, less than 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) north of Chachapoyas. We'll approach the viewpoint of the Sonche Canyon, from where we'll have a bird's eye view of the rugged geography of the Amazonian Andes.
Once in the village of Huancas, we'll discover the millenary techniques of its famous female potters, whose work is considered a cultural heritage of Peru. On the way back to Chachapoyas, we'll stop at the viewpoint of Luya Urco—be sure to take some photos! After admiring this panoramic view, we'll go to the Ethnohistoric Religious Museum of Santa Ana, a place that will give you an insight into the architecture of the area during the 16th century.
Finally, we'll visit the Santa Isabel orchid nursery, at the southern end of the city. After about 3.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll take you back to the hotels in Chachapoyas.

Kuelap Fortress (9 Hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel and head south to Nuevo Tingo take the cable car to the Kuelap archaeological complex. Here, we'll spend around 6 hours exploring the site to discover fascinating pre-Incan circular structures that date back to the 5th century AD. Afterwards, we'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. We'll drop you off at your hotels in Chachapoyas 9 hours later.

Gocta Waterfall (9 Hours)
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll leave Chachapoyas behind and head north in a private vehicle to the town of Cocachimba. When we arrive, we'll set off on a 2-hour hike along its trails admiring the impressive plants and wildlife of the Peruvian jungle.
Then we'll reach the Gocta Waterfall (known by the locals as "La Chorrera") and marvel at this beautiful wonder of nature as it thunders down the rocks from 771 metres high!
To finish off the trip and regain our strength, we'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, consisting of a starter, main course and drink. At the end of the trip, we'll take you back to your hotels in Chachapoyas, arriving after a total of 9 hours.

Cavernas de Quiocta & Sarcofagos de Karajia (10.5 Hours)
We'll pick you up from your hotel and head northeast to Lamud. We'll pass through the villages of Cochechan and Cruz Pata, and from here we'll set off on a 30-minute walk to the Karajia Sarcophagi. This fascinating site houses pre-Incan sculptures which contain the mummified remains of people dating back to the 15th century.
At midday, we'll stop for a delicious lunch in Lamud, consisting of a starter, main course and drink. With our batteries recharged, we'll head to our next destination: the Quiocta Caves. As we explore these caverns, we'll get to see archaeological remains of pre-Incan burial sites and cave paintings from the Chachapoyan civilization. At the end of the trip, we'll take you back to your hotels after 10.5 hours in total.

Revash & Leymebamba Mausoleums (10 Hours)
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll head south to the town of Santo Tomás. From here we'll set off on a 45-minute walk to the Revash archaeological complex. The Revash mausoleums, known as chullpas by the locals, are collective tombs carved into a rocky wall over a ravine. They are carved into the form of ancient village houses of the Chachapoyas civilization.
Our next stop will be Leymebamba to visit the Mallqui Museum. Before entering the museum, we'll stop at a local restaurant to recharge our batteries with a delicious traditional lunch. At the museum, we'll marvel at over 200 mummies. At the end of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotels in Chachapoyas after 10 hours.
