Museums, palaces, churches and lively squares: discover the most special places in Argentina's second most important city on this guided tour of Cordoba.
Guided Tour of Cordoba
After picking you up from your accommodation at the selected time, we'll head into the historic centre of Cordoba, ready for our guided tour of the second most populous city in Argentina.
Our first stop will be in Plaza San Martín, where we'll see important buildings including the Cabildo, or colonial town hall, and Cordoba Cathedral. We'll also discover emblematic historic monuments like the Civic Centre, the Palace of Justice and the Italia and Intendencia Squares. Our route will continue past the Libertador San Martín Theatre, declared a National Monument in 1991.
We'll then stop to admire the architecture of the Los Capuchinos Church before continuing through Sarmiento Park and the Ciudad Universitaria, or university area, to the Alberdi neighbourhood. From there, we'll discover more of Cordoba's most iconic places of interest, such as the Olympic Stadium and the Botanical Garden.
For the finishing touch on our tour we'll visit the Manzana Jesuítica, or Jesuit Block, a beautiful neighbourhood that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we'll admire architectural gems like the Church of the Society of Jesus and the old rectorate of Cordoba University.
At the end of our four hour sightseeing tour of Cordoba, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.
