On this hiking route of the Calderón Hondo volcano, we'll see the most spectacular crater in the north of Fuerteventura. Its landscapes will captivate you!
We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your hotel. From there, we'll head to the Calderón Hondo volcano. If you'd prefer, we can meet at the foot of this spectacular volcano in northern Fuerteventura, whose altitude reaches 278 metres (912 feet).
Once we're all there, we'll set off on an unforgettable hiking route of the Calderón Hondo volcano from its base. On this 10-kilometre (6.2-mile), 3-hour hike, we'll discover up to seven lava emission points. Along the way, we'll reveal different fun facts about the volcanic landscapes of Fuerteventura.
The effort will be well worth it, because when we reach the summit, we'll see the amazing crater of Calderón Hondo. We'll pause at this point for a light snack including an energy bar, a piece of fruit and mineral water.
As we eat at the top of the volcano, we'll enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the Corralejo dunes. On clear days, it's even possible to make out the coast of Lanzarote.
After enjoying the views, we'll return to the foot of the volcano, where we'll conclude this hiking route. If you opt for the transfer option, we'll take you to your hotel, where we're expected to arrive 5 hours after pickup.
