Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco. Once we're all gathered, we'll start an activity that seamlessly combines nature, history, and adventure. Let's go!
We'll comfortably travel in a minibus until we reach the ranch, located in the Sacsayhuamán Archeological Park. Are you ready for an unforgettable experience in the mountains of Cusco?
We'll greet our friendly travel buddies, the horses, and after our first contact with them, we'll climb on their backs and ride through the stunning Peruvian nature. As we admire these amazing landscapes, we'll reach the viewpoint of the Cara del Inca. From here, you'll take in incredible views and learn the history of this unique natural formation.
Afterward, we'll reach the Moon Temple. This sacred place, also called Amaru Marka Wasi, was used to perform ceremonies and offerings, especially during the nights of the full moon. Interesting, isn't it? The guide will tell us some of the fascinating stories about the temple.
Then, we'll continue our horseback ride, learning about the Andean worldview, the traditions and beliefs of the Incan civilization, and the region's history as we explore the surrounding rock formations. We'll reach the viewpoint of Inkilltambo, where you can take pictures of this spectacular area.
We'll return to the Moon Temple, where we'll hop off our horses for a 30-minute guided walking tour through this iconic site. Finally, we'll return to the ranch on our horses. Here, you'll say goodbye to your horse friends and we'll take you back to the hotel, where we'll arrive 3 hours after pickup.
