First, we'll pick you up from your hotel at 10 am to start this tuk-tuk tour of Faro where you'll enjoy an exclusive visit - there'll be no other people in the group!
On this tour, we'll focus on the most emblematic areas of the city and learn about its rich heritage and extensive history. We'll start the tour by visiting the old town of Faro, where we'll learn about its origins and how it evolved over the centuries to become the capital of the Algarve region.
Next, we'll continue the tour by tuk-tuk exploring the part of Faro that was located inside the city walls that were almost completely destroyed in the 1755 earthquake.
Then we'll move on to more modern areas, such as Cinco de Octubre Avenue and the market. Our next stop will be the church of our Lady of Mount Carmel, the largest in the city and known for housing an ossuary called the Chapel of the Bones.
After admiring the exterior of the building, we'll finish the tour by taking you back to your hotel, where we'll arrive around 11 am.
