At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Palais Bab Sahra Fez restaurant, where we'll begin this unique experience during your stay in Morocco. Ready to have an amazing time? Come then!
Once we've been welcomed to the palace, we'll enjoy a Moroccan tea and sweets. Afterward, begin this activity with a short introduction to henna. Here, we'll learn all about the cultural importance of the henna plant before we're shown how to prepare the paste and the basic process of how it's applied to the skin.
Did you know that this seasonal body art was used in past centuries to decorate the bodies of women? This was done during social and religious celebrations and symbolised luck, happiness, and beauty.
After a little bit about the history, we'll create our own personalized designs before they are put onto our feet or hands. Let's get to work! It will take around 30 minutes for the drawing to be done. And once it's finished, we'll receive some advice on how to lengthen the amount of time the henna design will stay on our skin.
After 1.5 hours, the experience will come to an end at the main entrance to the restaurant. We hope to see you again soon!
If you want to enhance your experience in Fez, you can choose the tour with lunch or dinner, depending on the time you will take part in the activity.
