At the designated time, we'll meet at the takeoff point in the Chianti countryside just outside Florence. Ready for an unforgettable experience?
After a warm welcome, you'll get to watch the flight preparation phase. You'll see the balloon's colorful fabric spread out across the ground and filled with powerful burners. Little by little, the hot air balloon will slowly inflate until it reaches an upright position. Don't miss the chance to snap a photo of this almost mesmerizing moment!
Next, the pilot will give a brief safety talk and explain the rules to follow during the flight and landing. Then, it's time to climb into the basket and gently start rising from the ground, floating softly through the sky as the balloon follows the natural direction of the wind.
During the 1-hour flight, we'll soar over the iconic Tuscan landscape, reaching an altitude of about 640 m (2,100 ft). From the air, you'll see cypress-dotted hills, vineyards and olive groves, winding country roads, farmhouses, and medieval villages.
We'll also get to admire valleys and historic castles. Since hot air balloons travel solely guided by the breeze, every flight is unique and offers ever-changing views of Tuscany.
After the flight, we'll land in a safe area, where we'll toast with a glass of champagne and enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring typical Tuscan products in a gorgeous countryside setting.
After breakfast, we'll head back by vehicle to the meeting point, where we'll wrap up this 3-hour experience.
