After being collected from your hotel in Granada, we'll make our way towards the Costa Granadina and the Caves of Nerja. A day full of history, culture and beauty awaits us as we discover the treasures of this southern region in Spain. Let's go!
We'll begin our adventure at Almuñécar, a picturesque town with a history of more than 2 millennia dating back to the time of the Phonecians. Upon arriving, we'll pass through its cobblestone streets and admire the fusion between the old architecture and the blue colour of the Mediterranean. We'll also walk towards the beautiful Majuelo Park, an oasis of tranquillity which is home to a great variety of exotic flowers.
We'll continue our tour around Almuñécar at the imposing San Miguel Castle, where we'll have some amazing panoramic views that'll leave you stunned. From the highest point of this medieval fort, we'll take in the Costa Granadina in all its splendour. Photo moment!
We'll leave the Costa Granadina behind to continue our trip towards Nerja. Did you know that this town in Malaga is famous for its spectacular grotto? Once there, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a seaside restaurant. If you prefer, you can choose the option that doesn't include lunch. In this case, you can purchase lunch yourself.
Once we've eaten, we'll enter the depths of the Caves of Nerja and explore this fascinating underground world and authentic natural marvel! We'll pay particular attention to the stalactites and stalagmites which have been formed over thousands of years, making for an unforgettable sight.
After bidding farewell to Nerja with the views from the famous Balcony of Europe, we'll begin our return trip to Granada.
We'll bring this trip to the Costa Granadina to an end after 10 hours together back at your accommodation.
