At the selected time, we'll pick you up at the indicated meeting point and start a tour that'll take us to discover the main tourist attractions of this city and its surroundings. Ready?
During the tour, we'll combine walking tours with others on board the minibus in order to have the most complete view of the city of the sun and pisco.
The first stop will be at the 7-headed palm tree, whose history will leave you fascinated. Nearby, we'll visit the mystical village of Cachiche, once inhabited by witches. We'll talk about these ancient covens and the many legends that have been told about them for centuries.
Afterward, we'll explore the historic center of Ica, where we'll find the Plaza de Armas. This place is famous for having been the scene of the first libertarian cry proclaiming the independence of Peru. Around it, we'll be able to admire old colonial-style mansions and some of the main architectural monuments of the city.
Before leaving the center of Ica, we'll visit the Señor de Luren sanctuary, considered one of the most iconic monuments of Ica's religious tradition. Next, we'll visit the Nietto winery to learn all the winemaking process of Ica's wines and the famous pisco. Also, you'll have the chance to sample the various products produced in this winery.
Next, we'll visit the Huacachina Lagoon, a peaceful natural oasis surrounded by steep dunes. In the middle of the desert, we'll be mesmerized by the tropical palms and huapango trees and by the contrast of the emerald green water of the lagoon with the aridity of the dunes. Being one of the most beautiful desert landscapes of the continent, it's no wonder it's been dubbed the Oasis of America.
After 3.5 hours, we'll end the tour by dropping you back off at the meeting point.
