Climb up to Diamond Hill on this Connemara trekking route, getting you out into nature and filling your lungs with fresh air!
Connemara National Park Trekking
The tour meets at the Connemara National Park Visitor Centre at a time of your choice, ready to start the hike along one of the four trails that climb to the top of Diamond Hill, the most famous peak in Connemara.
The route, about 7 kilometres in length, will take us through the beautiful landscapes of this Irish park, full of typical wildlife, including deer. And along the way your guide will let you in on all the secrets of Connemara, including local history and the local way of life surrounded by nature.
500 metres above sea level lies Diamond Hill, and from there you will enjoy spectacular views of the entire park. After taking some stunning photographs and breathing the pure air from one of the highest points in Ireland, we will begin the descent back towards the starting point.
The tour comes to an end after three hours of trekking through the Connemara National Park.
