On this food tour we'll savor Peruvian cuisine as we tour the center and districts of Lima such as Barranco, Pueblo Libre and Surquillo.
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this tour of Lima, in which we'll visit two of its most renowned eateries.
We'll start the tour by visiting a local market in Surquillo, where we'll taste some typical delicacies. We'll continue with the food tour with a dose of history. We'll walk through the centre of Lima, exploring its colonial-era buildings and best monuments.
Nearby, we'll stop for a cocktail made from pisco, the famous Peruvian drink made from grapes. We'll also taste delicious Peruvian cocoa, which we're sure you'll love!
Then, we'll head over to the Pueblo Libre district, to visit a chef who will show us how to prepare the best ceviche limeño. At the end of the demonstration, we'll taste the delicious dish.
After tasting the savoury dish, we'll enjoy a sweet treat in the neighbourhood of Barranco, where you can taste 'picarones', the traditional Peruvian sweet prepared with pumpkin and sweet potato. Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel.
