Tour Details

Welcome to the gastronomic capital of South America! At the indicated time, we'll meet at Terrua Cafetería, in the heart of the Miraflores neighbourhood, to kick off this culinary experience. Are you ready to discover the flavours of Peru?

We'll start with a tasting of Peruvian coffee. In the coffee shop, you'll learn about the country's coffee tradition while you immerse yourself in the intense aroma and flavour of the beans grown in the fertile Andean lands. The best way to start the experience!

Afterwards, we'll walk for about 10 minutes to the Surquillo market, a real paradise for food lovers. Here, you'll be able to see and taste fresh and exotic fruits. We'll also explore the stalls full of local products that form the basis of Peruvian cuisine.

Our next stop will be the cevichería Maraparte, less than 5 minutes' walk from the market. This place is a true temple of Lima's gastronomy, where we'll be welcomed by a professional chef who will teach us how to prepare the famous Peruvian ceviche, a delicious causa limeña, a dish that mixes yellow potato, chilli and lemon to create an explosion of flavour, and chicha morada, a typical drink made from purple corn.

To end this 4-hour experience on a high note, we'll toast with a classic pisco sour, Peru's national cocktail. Cheers!
