On this 2-day trip to Paracas and Huacachina, we'll take a boat trip along the Ballestas Islands, enjoy a pisco tasting and slide down the dunes of the only natural oasis in South America—an unforgettable experience!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Lima and we'll head south towards the Department of Ica on board a sleeper bus with reclining seats.
Upon our arrival in Paracas after a 4-hour journey, we'll head to the port to embark on a speedboat ride of the Ballestas Islands. For 2 hours, we'll look out for sea lions, penguins and several birds in their natural habitat. If luck is on our side, we might also see some dolphins swimming near the boat—what a spectacle!
Back on dry land, you'll have free time to explore Paracas and get lunch. Feeling refuelled, we'll continue our route towards the Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by extensive golden dunes. During the journey, we'll tell you some interesting facts about the area, such as the legend of the mermaid that created this place.
Once in Huacachina, we'll visit a pisco vineyard. Then, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore the oasis, tour the dunes and relax at a swimming pool. Before sunset, we'll get ready for 2 of the most exciting activities of the day: a buggy tour and a sandboarding experience. We'll ascend the tallest dunes in South America at full speed and, from the top, we'll slide down the sand on the boards.
Lastly, we'll say our goodbyes, and you'll have the night free to get some dinner and rest in the accommodation.
After getting yourself some breakfast, you'll have 5 hours of free time to continue exploring Huacachina and have lunch. You can walk along the oasis, rest under the shade of the palm trees and relax in the swimming pool. You get to choose the perfect ending to the trip!
As evening falls, we'll bid farewell to this magical corner in Southern Peru and begin the return journey to Lima. We'll say our goodbyes at your hotel in the capital at around 11:45 pm.

In all cases, the prices indicated are per person, not per bedroom.
Please note that the rooms must be booked depending on the actual number of travelers, i.e., you cannot book a double or triple room for individual use. You also cannot book a triple room for 2 people.
If you'd prefer to find your own hotel, you can opt for the option without accommodation. In this case, you'll have to find accommodation located close to the Wild Rover Hostel in Huacachina, where we'll pick you up in the morning on day 2.
This activity includes pickup from hotels located near the airport in Lima, as well as in San Isidro, Miraflores and Barranco. Additionally, there will be pickup from the following hotels in central Lima: Diamond Hotel, Plaza Hotel, Gran Hotel Bolívar, Gran Hotel, Hotel Inka Path, Kamana, Hotel Plaza Mayor, Hotel Continental, Lima House, San Agustín Riviera, Sheraton and Hotel París.
If you're staying outside of these areas, we'll pick you up at the McDonald's at Kennedy Park in Miraflores.
