Teide National Park Day Trip
After picking you up, we'll set off for the Cañadas del Teide National Park, taking in views of impressive Canary pine forests and typical picturesque villages along the way.
Since it was listed as a World Heritage site in 2007, the Teide is considered one of the 12 Treasures of Spain. Not only is it the highest peak in Spain but it also offers a unique natural beauty and curious changing atmospheric conditions.
Learn about the secrets of this volcanic landscape while you walk to the feet of the emblematic Mount Teide. Standing over 7,500 meters above the ocean floor, the Teide is the country’s tallest elevation. The dormant volcano was active for the last time in the 18th century, but volcanologists remain vigilant.
As we walk around this colossal mountain, we'll tell you all about how the Canary Islands were created and what makes Los Roques de García such a popular attraction in the park. Your guide will also reveal the different types of plants that live in this apparently infertile area. One of the most striking is the Teide red Tajinaste.
At the end of the excursion, we'll take you back to the starting point where we'll arrive 7 hours later.
Pickup Info
This activity includes pickup from the following areas in the south of Tenerife between 7:05 and 8:20 am. When booking, you must indicate one of the pickup points we offer in the following areas:
- Zone 1: Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje, pickups are every day. El Médano and Golf del Sur, pickups are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
- Zone 2: Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraíso, Marazul and Playa de la Arena, pickups are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
