On this excursion to Chã Preta and Serra Lisa from Maceió, we'll get to know two amazing places in the interior of the state of Alagoas, a day in full contact with nature!
We'll leave at 6 am from your hotel in Maceió to go to Chã Preta, a small and picturesque village located 100 kilometres away (62 miles).
Upon arrival at our destination, we'll head to the Aconchego Santo Izidro farm, where you can have breakfast on your own. Have you got your strength back? Then we'll continue our tour with a walk to the Santo Izidro waterfall.
After a refreshing dip in the waterfall we'll return to the hacienda, where you can have a delicious buffet lunch on your own. After lunch, we'll visit another famous tourist spot in Chã Preta: the Braçadeira area, where we'll learn about a curious botanical love story. Yes, you read that right, as we'll see two centenary trees, Gameleira and Sapucaia, which were intertwined as they grew.
We'll continue the excursion by visiting the Serra Lisa. Its captivating natural landscapes, where we'll enjoy unique views, are part of the Borborema plateau. Did you know that this plateau extends over four Brazilian states? This area of Alagoas is also home to a number of crystal-clear water springs.
To end the tour on a high note, we'll head to a viewpoint on the Serra Lisa to watch the sunset while enjoying a performance by a local folklore group.
At the end of this short musical concert at sunset we'll return to your hotel in Maceió, where we'll arrive at 9 pm.
