Why Visit the Liria Palace?
Located on Calle de la Princesa, in the heart of Madrid, just steps from the Conde Duque barracks and Plaza de España, the Palacio de Liria is a must-see in the Spanish capital. Home to the 19th Duke of Alba, this building houses an extraordinary art collection spread across its halls and rooms.
Built in 1773 on the orders of Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart y Colón, an ancestor of the current Duke of Alba, the Palacio de Liria impresses from the outside with its carefully crafted neoclassical facade. Did you know it's also known as "the little brother of the Royal Palace"?
The Palacio de Liria has 14 rooms in total, each housing a vast collection of works of art.

“Cayetana: Grande de España”
From September 30, 2026, through January 31, 2027, you can enjoy the exhibition “Cayetana: Grande de España,” a chronological and thematic journey through the life of the Duchess of Alba, from her childhood to her rise as a key figure in the social, cultural, and media landscape of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
Visit & Audioguide
Using a QR code provided at the palace, you'll need to download an English audioguide onto your phone. Please make sure to bring your own headphones.
Once downloaded, you'll spend 1.5 hours exploring the palace following the audioguide commentary on your phone, discovering the artistic heritage of the Palacio de Liria.
The visit will take place at the time selected when booking.
Reduced-Price Tickets
