Opening Hours
The Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 am to 3 pm.
The visit normally takes about 2 hours, which is plenty of time to enjoy every corner of the museum and soak up the history, art and culture.
Temporary Exhibitions
Please note that your ticket does not include admission to the temporary exhibitions that aren't free.
Types of Ticket
When booking, you can opt for one of the following types of tickets:
- Basic Entry: this option applies to adults who cannot benefit from any type of discount
- Reduced Entry: this ticket applies to seniors over 65, retirees, pensioners, students over 25, international students, members of the FEAM and individual members of large families. To benefit from the discount, you must show corresponding ID.
- Free Entry: jobseekers, people with disabilities, university students under 25, children under 18, museum professionals; members of ANABAD, ICOM, IAC and MAV; official tour guides, journalists carrying out professional activities, teaching staff, researchers with an Academy Archive-Library card and graduates in training at the Academy during the current year of the card. In all these cases, the corresponding ID is also required.
