Hop aboard a speedboat to go whale watching and explore the underwater depths of northern Peru with this snorkeling activity in Mancora!
Snorkeling in Mancora
We'll meet at 7:30 am at the pier in Mancora, where a speedboat will be waiting for us to take us to the waters of this area of northern Peru.
Before boarding the boat, we'll hand out the necessary equipment and give you the basic guidelines you should know to participate in this activity safely. Once we're all ready, we'll set sail!
We'll set course for the ideal snorkeling spot of the day, which will depend on the weather and sea conditions. We'll either dive at Platform MX1, Punta Veleros, Los Organos dock, or Vichayito.
Until we reach our destination, we'll make several stops and, if we're lucky, we'll be able to admire the majestic humpback whales that inhabit the waters of Mancora.
Now, we'll stop to put on our snorkel masks and fins and get in the water! We'll explore the amazing seabed of Mancora, where we'll see all sorts of sea animals, such as groupers, tuna, sailfish, and conger eels. Great diversity awaits us in these waters!
Finally, we'll return to the boat to go back to the dock in Mancora, where we'll conclude the activity at 12 noon.
