At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Manta and start a sightseeing tour of this city known as the "Gateway to the Pacific". Let's go!
First, we'll head to the viewpoint of Ciudad Alfaro to admire the panoramic view of Montecristi. We'll also learn about the history of the two main traditional handicrafts of the city: straw products and furniture.
Leaving the upper area of the city behind, we'll continue our panoramic tour of Manta at the Shipyard, next to Tarqui Beach. While we spot the tuna boats stranded on the beach, we'll talk about this product and its importance as the economic engine of Manta. The city even has a tuna monument!
We'll continue our tour of Manta in the most modern area of the city. In addition to the many bars and restaurants on the main avenue, the busy atmosphere is so characteristic of this Ecuadorian city, which you'll discover as we explore the Barbasquillo shopping area!
Last but not least, we'll head to the fishing port of Manta, the most important in Ecuador. From here, we'll head to the Murciélago beach to enjoy its relaxed atmosphere and end the panoramic tour. We'll be dropping you off at your hotel in Manta at 12 pm.
