Activity Details
At the indicated time, we will meet at 321 N Main St and, once everyone has arrived, we will begin this off-roading adventure through Canyonlands National Park.
Aboard the off-road vehicle, we will enter the Colorado River corridor, just outside Moab. We will drive through the red-rock desert, a visual spectacle few have the chance to see. You’ll love it!
During the journey, we will tell you about the formation history of one of the greatest landscapes on the West Coast. Did you know it covers more than 1300 square kilometers (500 square miles) of labyrinth-like canyons? This natural area is known as the Land of Canyons for a reason.
The park also preserves an important legacy of rock art, where you can admire scenes of daily life created by the native peoples who once lived here. We will also stop at the famous Gooseneck viewpoint overlooking the Colorado River, and we will follow part of the White Rim Trail to Musselman Arch, an impressive natural bridge.
We will crown the tour by driving up the curves of the Shafer Trail until reaching the top of the Island in the Sky mesa, without a doubt the ideal spot to enjoy the stunning desert views.
Finally, we will begin the return trip and say goodbye at the starting point after a total of 4 hours.
