At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Monte Verde, ready to start a fun 4x4 tour through the main tourist attractions of this town in the state of Minas Gerais. Off we go!
During the tour, we'll drive through Monte Verde admiring its quaint and charming houses. The first stops on the route will be at a trout farm and a still. We'll discover all the secrets of the local gastronomy and learn about the production of cachaça, a very popular drink in Brazil obtained from sugar cane.
Afterward, we'll go to the Mirante do Aeroporto, a viewpoint located at 1,560 meters (5,118 feet) above sea level. From here, we'll enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Serra da Mantiqueira and be able to see one of the highest airplane landing strips in the country.
The route then takes us to visit two traditional stores where we'll be able to taste some of the region's most typical products, like chocolate!
The last stop of the day will be at Pedra Redonda, one of the highest peaks of Monte Verde. We'll park the vehicles and go on a 1-kilometer (0.6-mile) hiking route to reach the top - the views are truly incredible!
We'll return to the 4x4 and, after four hours of exploring, we'll finish the tour by dropping you off at your hotel.
