Caves, cliffs, and deep turquoise waters... Take this ferry and discover the dreamy landscapes of Berlenga Grande Island, an unknown paradise in Portugal.
Berlenga Grande Ferry
We'll meet at the Marina de Peniche and there take the ferry to Berlenga Grande. This is the largest island of the archipelago and also the only one of the three that can be visited. Ready to experience a unique adventure?
Once we board the ferry, we'll sail across the Atlantic towards the archipelago of the Berlengas Islands. The journey there will take about 45 minutes, during which we'll admire the marvelous views of arches, grottoes, rocks, and islets formed over thousands of years.
Did you know that these islands are a protected area? What's more, they were appointed as a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. When we reach the mainland, you'll have about three hours of free time to explore Berlanga Grande.
You'll be able to explore the island and discover the many animals and plants native to this area. Incidentally, this beautiful island is also famous for having several shipwrecks take place on its shores during the centuries.
After about 3 hours and 30 minutes, we'll arrive back at the Peniche Marina.
