On this hiking tour of the Vargem Grande Reserve waterfalls, we'll see the Santa Maria, Lázaro and Véu de Noiva waterfalls. 3 spectacular waterfalls in the state of Goiás!
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and make our way to the northern part of the city, where the Vargem Grande Ecological Reserve is found.
Once there, we'll begin the unforgettable hiking route around the waterfalls within Vargem Grande. On this lower-difficulty trail, we'll hike 3.5 kilometres 2.17 miles) in total, to discover the green and exuberant landscape where we'll see these stunning waterfalls.
We'll make our way to the first location, the Santa Maria Waterfall, where we'll hear the impact of the water hitting the rocks. After seeing the waterfall, we'll keep walking towards the second waterfall of the tour. The famous Lázaro Waterfall. Its torrent flows into a natural pool where we'll be able to take a refreshing dip.
Next, we'll make a stop to grab a bite to eat. Don't forget to bring your picnic! After eating, we'll rest for a couple of minutes and then continue walking in the direction of the Véu de Noiva Waterfall. Do you know why it's called this? We'll find out!
Finally, from this last waterfall, we'll start walking back to the starting point. There, our vehicle will be waiting to bring us back to Pirenópolis. We're expected to arrive back around 5 hours after the initial pickup time.
