Tour Details
What are the most authentic flavours of Porto? To find out, meet us in front of the Statue of Arnaldo Gama, from where we'll begin to delve into the most authentic flavours of the north of Portugal.
Our first stop will be at a traditional tasco, a tavern with over 45 years of history. Here, we'll enjoy a selection of regional dishes: a crispy bolinho de bacalhau (a cod pastry), a board of presunto (cured ham), and the famous Bifana à Moda do Port, a soft pork sandwich slow-cooked with wine, garlic, and spices. All of this will be served with a refreshing drink of your choice.
Then, we'll head to the lively Bolhão Market, a paradise for the senses among flower, cheese, fruit, and cured meat stands. Here, you'll lose yourself among the buzzing stands, colors, and aromas.
To end our food tour with a sweet touch, we'll stop at the Manteigaria bakery. Here, we'll savour a delicious pastel de nata. This famous puff pastry tart filled with custard is perfect with a strong cup of coffee, as is tradition!
Our 3-hour food tour will end at this bakery in the center of Porto.
