This sightseeing bus is perfect for enjoying the most important sights in Porto hassle-free! The bus has two routes with different stops, allowing you to get to know the city and be entertained in comfort thanks to its two floors and an open top. It also includes a visit to a winery with wine tasting!
Tour Description
The Porto sightseeing bus has two different routes. Each comes with an audio guide in English and you'll be able to get on and off the buses at any stop:
The Red Line
This tour option has 12 stops and takes 2 hours to complete. From the bus, you'll pass emblematic spots like Batalha, the Crystal Palace, Castelo do Queijo, and the Cléricos Church.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: the first departure from stop 1 is at 10:20 am and the last departure is at 5:50 pm. The frequency is every 25 minutes.
- Friday to Sunday: the first departure from stop 1 is at 10:10 am and the last departure is at 5:50 pm. The frequency is every 20 minutes.
Special schedules: on December 24, 2026, the bus only operates until 1 pm, and on December 25, 2026, there is no service.
The Blue Line
This option has 8 stops and is 1 hour long. You'll get to see some of Porto's most iconic landmarks such as the Jardim do Morro, the Serra do Pilar Monastery, and the Quinta da Boeira.
Schedule: every day from 10:15 am to 5:45 pm (final departure from stop 1) every 30 minutes.
Special schedules: on December 24, 2026, the bus only operates until 1 pm, and on December 25, 2026, there is no service.

Ticket Options
When booking, you'll get to choose between the following options:
24-Hour Ticket
This option includes a 24-hour ticket for Porto's sightseeing bus. You'll also get to enjoy two walking tours of Porto in English:
- Tour of the historical centre: leaving at 12 pm every day from Bus Stop 2 on the Red Line.
- Tour of Porto and Gaia: leaving at 3 pm every day from Bus Stop 1 of the Red and Blue Lines.
You'll also have a chance to do a wine tasting in one of the following wineries: Espaço Porto Cruz, Quinta da Boeira y Museu 1º Demarcação. You can choose whichever you like! You'll also get a 50% discount on visits to the Real Companhia Velha.
Lastly, the 24-hour ticket also includes a scenic tour of Porto by night, with no stops, on a City Sightseeing bus. This tour sets off from Bus Stop 2 on the Red Line with the following schedule:
- January, February, November, and December: 6 pm
- March and October: 7 pm
- April and September: 8 pm
- May, June, July, and August: 9 pm
48-Hour Ticket
This ticket includes a 48-hour ticket for the City Sightseeing Porto sightseeing bus and the same benefits as the 24-hour ticket.
48-Hour Ticket + Six Bridges Boat Tour
This option includes all the same benefits as the 24-hour ticket, as well as a boat tour of the Six Bridges of Porto.
This 50-minute boat tour along the Douro River sets off every 30 minutes from Cais do Douro Acima (Douro Acima Pier) and Ribeira do Porto (close to Ribeira Square). Its schedule is as follows:
- April to October: 10 am to 6:30 pm
- November to March: 10 am to 4:30 pm
How Do the Tickets Work?
Regardless of whether you choose a 24- or 48-hour ticket, its validity will depend on when you validate the ticket. For example, if you begin to use your 48-hour ticket on a Monday at 1 pm, it will be valid until Wednesday at 1 pm. During that time period, you'll be able to hop on and off any sightseeing bus as many times as you'd like.
