When booking your private excursion to the Iberá Wetlands you can choose one of the options listed below. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Posadas at the indicated time, transport, an English-speaking guide, and a snack or lunch (depending on your selection).
Cambyretá Portal Tour (7.5 hours)
From Posadas, we'll head south to the Iberá National Park. Once we reach this wetland, one of the most outstanding in South America, we'll head for the area called Portal Cambyretá.
In this area, we'll walk along different pedestrian paths to enter the heart of the wetlands. These are large marshy expanses in whose surroundings we'll see a wide diversity of native fauna. Among the main animals are capybaras, yacare caiman, and marsh deer.
We'll continue the tour through the Cambyretá Portal of the Iberá Wetlands in the camping area, where we'll replenish our strength with a delicious snack. This snack includes cold drinks and infusions accompanied by pastries and sweets.
After our snack, we'll return to Posadas. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled 7.5 hours after pickup.

San Nicolás Portal Tour (12 hours)
If you choose this option, we'll take a longer route through the Iberá National Park that'll take us to one of the main sectors of this protected area: the San Nicolás Portal awaits us!
We'll first head for the Carambola stream, from where we'll take a kayak or canoe tour. As we navigate through the wetlands area, we'll contemplate different specimens of the native fauna of the Iberá Wetlands, such as caimans, capybaras, and hundreds of endemic birds.
After sailing, we'll go to the camping area to have a tasty picnic lunch that includes empanadas or sandwiches with cold drinks and infusions. After lunch, we'll walk along the San Nicolás Portal footpaths. This walk will allow us to continue discovering the local landscapes, fauna, and flora.
At the end of the walk, we'll have the same snack as in the previous tour. Finally, we'll return to Posadas. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled 12 hours after pickup.
