Mendoza River Rafting Activity
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between a 12 or 30-kilometre (7.4 to 18-mile) rafting route. We'll meet at your chosen time for both activities in the Parque de Aventura in Potrerillos, next to the Mendoza River.
12-Kilometre Rafting Route (2 hours)
If you choose this option, we'll set off from the meeting point and drive along the Ruta 7 road for 15 minutes to one of the main areas on the banks of the Mendoza River.
After a brief introduction from our instructor, we'll start our rafting activity. This experience is perfect for beginners, as we'll travel for 12 kilometres through the class II and III moderate-difficulty rapids.
Our activity on the Mendoza River will last 60 minutes, after which it'll be time to say our goodbyes.
Schedule: This activity takes place from May to June at 11 am or at 3 pm, whichever you would prefer.
30-Kilometre Rafting Route + Lunch (5 to 6 hours)
In this case, we'll head towards Cerro Negro and explore the area around the Mendoza River that skirts the foot of this hill. Let's go!
The activity will last between 3 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours as we go on an unforgettable 30-kilometre (19-mile) route with class II and III rapids. At the halfway point, we'll stop for a delicious lunch on the banks of the river next to the old Guido train station. Our menu will include a country barbecue with sausages, vegetables, salad and fruit. You can wash this tasty meal down with wine, juice, or mineral water.
After lunch, we'll continue our rafting route on the Mendoza River toward the Tierras Coloradas area. From there, we'll head back to the starting point.
