In the South of Bohemia, you can find Cesky Krumlov, a fairytale town, which, thanks to its impressive castle and historic old town, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.
Day Trip Details
Leaving the center of Prague behind, we'll travel south by road, passing through Hussite towns, villages representative of the Baroque style, and some of the most picturesque landscapes in this part of the Czech Republic.
After a journey of about 2.5 hours, we'll arrive in Český Krumlov, where we'll take a guided tour and visit iconic landmarks such as the Barber's Bridge and Church of Saint Vitus. Continuing our tour, we'll reach Latrán, in the lower part of Český Krumlov Castle.
After the tour, you'll have free time for lunch and some shopping. Those who wish can also visit the castle with a local guide, although this is not included in the tour price.
In the afternoon, we'll take a pleasant stroll through the castle's Baroque gardens, where we'll enjoy extraordinary scenery that will make you feel like you're in a fairy tale.
Once the tour is finished, we'll return to the meeting point in Prague, arriving between 10 and 11 hours after the initial pickup.
Český Krumlov Castle Tour
If you wish to visit Český Krumlov Castle, you will need to purchase tickets on the day of the activity. Tickets cost 300CZK per person. You'll receive an explanatory brochure in your preferred language to guide you through the tour. The guided tour is conducted exclusively in English or Czech and lasts 50 minutes.
