With this whale-watching tour off the coast of Puerto Lopez, we'll sail the waters of Machalilla National Park to learn everything about these majestic animals!
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Piedra del Mar hotel in Puerto Lopez. Then, we'll head to the port where we'll board the boat that will take us whale-watching!
We'll sail through the calm waters of Machalilla National Park. Did you know that it's a protected area and that you'll find the only coral reefs in Ecuador here? It's also where whales choose to mate, reproduce, and take care of their young.
During the boat tour, we'll have the opportunity to see families of whales or males courting a female. Some curious whales might even approach the boat if we're lucky!
As we listen to the crew's explanations, we'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about these immense cetaceans. Then, after seeing these beautiful animals, we'll head to an area where we can swim or snorkel!
After 3 hours of activity, we'll end the whale-watching trip by returning to the meeting point in Puerto Lopez.
