Few adjectives can describe the beauty of the Chilean region of Los Lagos. We'll witness the beauty of its landscapes on this excursion to Cochamó & Termas del Sol, where you'll enjoy a relaxing outdoor bath in the middle of Patagonia.
Cochamó & Termas del Sol Day Trip
At the time indicated, we'll depart from Puerto Varas, taking Route 225. Along this road at the foot of the Andes, which runs parallel to Lake Llanquihue, we'll border the beautiful Reloncaví estuary.
We'll continue the route next to the mouth of the Petrohué River, and from there we'll go to Puelo. On the outskirts of this town lies Termas del Sol, one of the great thalassotherapy centers in the Chilean region of Los Lagos.
You'll have 4 hours of free time at Termas del Sol, where you can enjoy its 10 thermal pools. The temperature ranges between 36 and 45 degrees Celsius (96 and 113 Fahrenheit), making it easier to eliminate all impurities of the skin. In addition to being an excellent method of exfoliation, the thermal contrast when in contact with the water is highly beneficial for improving blood circulation.
You can have lunch on your own at the thermal complex, after which we'll continue with a visit to Cochamó. In this town, which is located on the shores of the Reloncaví Fjord, we'll admire its church with Chiloé architecture and its traditional wooden houses. We'll also go to the promenade of Paseo de la Costanera to enjoy the views.
Finally, from Cochamó we'll return to Puerto Varas, where we'll arrive after 10 hours in total.
