On this trip to Opatija, Mošćenice, and Trsat you'll discover some of the most beautiful towns on Kvarner Bay. Castles, aristocratic beauty, and fascinating history await you.
At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pula to set off to Opatija, the pearl of the Adriatic.
As soon as we reach the city, the beauty of Opatija will leave you speechless. Also known as the Old dame of Kvarner Bay, this city houses an incredible old town presenting various architectural styles. And did you know Opatija used to be one of the favorite tourist destinations for the royal families and aristocrats in Europe during winter? Once you've gotten to know the city, you'll be sure to understand why.
After exploring Opatija, we'll hop on a minibus and travel to our next destination: the nearby town of Mošćenice. This small fishing village, just 20 minutes away, offers one of the best views of Kvarner Bay. Cameras at the ready!
Then we'll head to our next and final destination, the town of Trsat. One of this town's greatest attractions is its imposing 8th-century castle. We'll learn about this town's history and discover why this place held such importance for both pilgrims and invaders alike.
Lastly, we'll return to Pula at approximately 2 pm, ending the tour.
