After picking you up from your hotel in Puno at the indicated time, we'll go to the dock where the boat will be waiting for us. Get ready to discover the famous Uros Islands!
We'll climb into a traditional boat made of reeds designed by the local indigenous communities, which have become a symbol of the region. We'll reveal how these boats are built while we go on a tour of Lake Titicaca.
Over the course of an hour, we'll observe the area's endemic birds and the beautiful views offered by the impressive spring until we reach the artificial islands of the Uros. These amazing stretches of land are made of the same material as the boats!
When we arrive at our destination, we'll take a walking tour of these islands to discover the lifestyle of the locals. We'll learn about their traditions, see their artisan work, and learn about their customs. An experience you'll never forget!
An hour and a half later, we'll return to the boat and start the journey back, dropping you at your hotel at 12:30 pm.
This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. If your accommodation is in the outskirts, you must make your own way to Calle Jirón Arequipa, located very close to the Plaza de Armas.
