Would you like to spend a day in the countryside in contact with nature? On this visit to the San Rafael estate, located on the outskirts of Resistencia, you'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of its private nature reserve.
We'll start this special day in the countryside by meeting at 9:30 am at the Estancia San Rafael.
As soon as you arrive at this famous private nature reserve, located on the outskirts of Resistencia, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast. The menu includes coffee, tea or mate cocido with or without milk. You'll also be delighted with a variety of pastries, fried cakes, pepas, palmeritas and homemade sponge cakes. In addition, you'll have an option for coeliacs.
After this delicious breakfast, we'll start a route through different trails of the reserve. We'll travel in a vehicle adapted to the terrain, called a safari truck. On this ride, which lasts approximately one hour, we'll cover 5 kilometres (3 miles) while you enjoy the natural landscapes of the area.
At the end of the ride we'll go to the area where the livestock is kept on the ranch. There we'll see different animals and, in addition, we'll learn about the agricultural activities that are carried out in the reserve. We'll also learn about the great biodiversity that characterises this area of the province of Chaco, located in the north of Argentina.
Then, we'll go to the quincho: the barbecue area of the estate. Here you'll enjoy a traditional Argentinean lunch that includes empanadas, grilled meats and a dessert. You can also opt for a special meal for vegetarians or people with intolerances.
After lunch you can relax in the estat's garden while you learn about the history of the San Rafael reserve and the nearby Colonia Amadeo. Finally, at 3:30 pm we'll end this country day experience.
If you prefer, you can book the option of being picked up at your hotel in Resistencia between 8:20 am and 8:30 am. Once we arrive at the ranch, we'll begin the visit at 9:30 am starting with breakfast.
After enjoying the country day experience we'll return to your hotel in Resistencia, where we'll arrive at 4:30 pm.
