Enjoy exploring the Brazilian marine depths and discovering the different species of fish in the South Atlantic Ocean with this Arraial Do Cabo Diving experience.
Arraial do Cabo Diving
On the day of the activity, we’ll pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and board a minibus to head to Arraial do Cabo, a 2.5-hour drive away. Are you ready to discover the Brazilian Caribbean?
Once we arrive at our destination, we’ll board a boat to begin the diving experience. For 30 minutes, a certified instructor will teach you the basics of diving to ensure maximum safety. Never dived before? Don't worry—this activity is suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.
Once we're all geared up, we’ll dive in and explore the seabed off the Atlantic coast. If you have a PADI certification, you’ll have the opportunity to go on two dives, each lasting 30 minutes. Otherwise, you’ll enjoy a single dive, also lasting half an hour. Either way, it’ll be a unique experience!
You may be wondering why Arraial do Cabo is the best place to dive, and the answer is that the water conditions there are exceptional all year round. Depths range from 6 to 35 m (19 to 114 ft), visibility can reach up to 20 m (65 ft), and the water temperature stays between 19 and 23 °C (66 to 73 °F).
Back on the surface, we’ll return to the port and, from there, head back to Rio de Janeiro, dropping you off at your hotel between 4 and 5 pm.
Important Info
Between December 23, 2026, and March 1, 2027, both certified divers and beginners will only be allowed to make one 30-minute dive.
