The journey to Verona takes about 2 hours. Once there, you’ll have 2 hours of free time to wander this enchanting Veneto city, filled with unique landmarks and sights.
Of course, Verona is famous as the setting for the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet! But what’s the real story behind the legend? We’ll find out in the afternoon, as we begin a guided tour of the city’s most iconic spots, lasting about 1.5 hours.
Together, we’ll explore the grand Piazza Brà, home to the renowned Arena of Verona, an impressive Roman amphitheater that hosts summer opera concerts. We’ll also pass by the Lamberti Tower, Piazza dei Signori, and the lively Piazza delle Erbe, one of Italy’s oldest markets.
After the tour, you’ll have more free time to enjoy lunch and explore Verona’s attractions further. You might visit Juliet’s House and leave a message of love on its walls or take a leisurely walk along Via Mazzini, known for its stylish shops.
The return to your starting point is planned for about 10 hours after departure, making it a perfect day to experience the magic of Verona!
