Public transport
The Salzburg Card includes unlimited access to all the city's public transport: metro, buses, and trams.
Skip the line
Not only will you have free entry to a huge range of attractions, but you'll also be able to skip the queues, which could save you hours during peak season!
Validity
The card is activated as soon as it's used and remains valid for the number of days purchased (24, 48, or 72 hours). You can visit each attraction with the card once.
Collection
You can collect your Salzburg Card from one of the following tourist offices:
Mozartplatz Tourist Information Centre
This centre is open at the following times:
- January to March: Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm
- April to September: Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
- October to November 19th: Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6:00 pm
- November 20th to December (except Christmas): Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
These are the Christmas opening hours:
- December 24th: from 9 am to 2 pm
- December 25th: from 10 am to 5 pm
- December 31st: from 9 am to 4:30 pm
- January 1st: from 10 am to 5 pm
Salzburg Hauptbahnhof Train Station Tourist Information Point
This point is open at the following times:
- January to May: Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
- June to September: Monday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 6 pm
- October to December (except Christmas): Monday to Sunday from 9 to 6 pm
Please note that all of these times are flexible and subject to change.
Validity and collection day: although you must mark a specific day when booking, you can collect your card on any other day. Likewise, the validity period of the card can start whenever you choose and doesn't have to be on the day of collection.
