At the designated time, we'll meet at East San Ysidro Boulevard to leave behind San Diego and set off towards Tijuana. In a mere 30 minutes, we will have crossed the American border with Mexico. Let's go!
Did you know that Tijuana is the biggest city in Baja California? Once we arrive, we'll wander down the main street, Avenida Revolución, the ideal spot to immerse ourselves in the local atmosphere. We'll walk past classic cantinas, dance clubs, restaurants, and art galleries that combine Mexican and Californian cultures in a unique way. Additionally, we'll tell you the history of this street, known as "La Revu" amongst locals.
During this walking tour, we'll see various historical buildings and murals that tell the story of the city's inception. We'll make various stops to take photos of iconic monuments, such as the Torre de Agua Caliente and Arco Monumental. Cameras at the ready!
Once you get hungry, we'll stop to enjoy a typical lunch made up of Mexican tacos with spicy sauces and various toppings, as well as a refreshing drink. Enjoy!
Afterwards, we'll give you some free time to rest and try a Tijuanan artisanal beer if you wish.
Lastly, we'll begin our journey back to our initial meeting point after a total of 4.5 to 5 hours.
