Located at the famous Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf, the Aquarium of the Bay offers an incredible journey through the marine flora and fauna of San Francisco Bay and other parts of the world. More than 24,000 creatures await you!
With your ticket to the Aquarium of the Bay, you can explore different themed areas designed to recreate the natural habitats of dozens of aquatic species. One of the aquarium’s main attractions is its impressive acrylic underwater tunnels, stretching over 90 meters (295.3 feet) in length. As you walk through them, leopard sharks, bat rays, sturgeon, and huge schools of anchovies will literally swim right over your heads. Did you know that some of these species live under the famous Golden Gate Bridge?
You’ll also have the chance to explore galleries dedicated to fluorescent jellyfish, giant Pacific octopuses, moray eels, starfish, and anemones. Plus, the aquarium features interactive touch pools where you can touch some marine species under expert supervision.

The Aquarium of the Bay is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, with the last admission allowed 30 minutes before closing time.
