Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island. Before starting our adventure, we'll give you the snorkeling equipment and do a brief test to make sure everything is ready to dive. Let's have an unforgettable experience!
From the port, we'll embark on a boat that will take us on a tranquil 1.5-hour journey to the impressive Pinzón Island. Did you know that this island, practically uninhabited by humans, is home to unique species? You'll be amazed!
Our first stop of the day will be at Penguin Bay, a true marine paradise known for its crystal clear waters and biodiversity. Here we can swim with sea turtles, white tip sharks, rays, tropical fish and, if we're lucky, even Galapagos sharks. Of course, always keeping a minimum distance of 2 meters (6.5 ft) to respect their natural habitat.
Before continuing, we'll take a short break at Roca Sin Nombre (No Name Rock). This rock formation in the middle of the ocean serves as a refuge for blue-footed boobies, lava gulls and playful sea lions—a natural sight in the middle of the sea!
On the way back to the ship, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch on board, consisting of chicken or fish with rice and salad. And then, more snorkeling! Our last stop will be at Bahia La Fe, located on the southeast coast of Santa Cruz. This quiet corner is ideal for relaxing, strolling along the beach and a last dive in its turquoise waters. Turtles, tropical fish and reefs await you under the surface.
Finally, we'll return to Puerto Ayora and say goodbye at the dock, about 8 hours later.
