Taking the funicular up Cerro San Cristóbal is one of the best ways to watch the twinkling night over Santiago. And once you reach the top, you'll be treated to a wine tasting and live music to make the moment last.
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Pío Nono station, where a period-costumed character will welcome us at the entrance to the funicular castle for a visit to the Museo Vivo del Funicular.
We'll then board Santiago's iconic funicular for the ride up to the summit of Cerro San Cristóbal. The journey takes 10 to 15 minutes and comes with its own soundtrack, courtesy of a live saxophonist on board.
As we climb, we'll pick out neighborhoods, parks, and main avenues below, taking in a privileged bird's-eye perspective of the city. At the top, we'll head to the Tudor Salon for a tasting of 2 Chilean wines from Viña Casas del Bosque, paired with a charcuterie board.
The Cerro San Cristóbal experience wraps up with a cocktail on a panoramic terrace overlooking the Santiago skyline.
After this combination of culture, gastronomy, and stunning views, we'll head back down to the starting point, rounding off the activity after 1.5 hours.
