Southwest of São Paulo lies a small town that has become a tourist attraction for all art lovers. Embu das Artes will be the destination of this private excursion from São Paulo. To get there, we'll pick you up at your hotel at the time of your choice and leave the big metropolis behind for a 40-minute minibus ride.
When we reach the elegant town, we'll embark on a walking tour around its old town and the most emblematic places, such as the Art and Handicraft Fair, one of the city's main attractions, which creates a real hub of activity every weekend. Decorative items for the home, antique coins, board games, porcelain, basketry, costume jewelry... there is something for everyone!
As we walk around, we'll tell you about the history of Embu das Artes and discover many interesting facts about its past. As its name indicates, this Brazilian town has been welcoming artists since 1937 when Cássio M'Boy, sculptor of religious images in Embu, won the first prize at the Exposition Internationel d'Arts Techniques du Paris.
Since this is a private tour, you'll have the flexibility to decide which areas you want to visit. We'll walk around the city making stops in the places that catch your attention. If you want, we can also leave you free time to explore the area at your leisure or to have lunch at a local restaurant or cafe accompanied by live music.
