Immerse yourself in the rich history and interesting culture of Hangzhou, one of China’s most prosperous cities and once considered the country’s Garden of Eden, on this full-day private tour.
Tour Details
After picking you up from your hotel at the indicated time, we'll head west to get to Hangzhou, the capital of the Zhejiang Province.
After approximately 3 hours of travel, we'll begin our tour of Hangzhou by visiting the Lingyin Temple, one of China's most famous temples thanks to its rock-carved statues.
We'll continue the tour by visiting West Lake, the city centre and its liveliest spot. At the lake, you can take a boat to visit some of its islands and learn about their legends.
After lunch, we can visit the Liuhe Pagoda (built in 970) or, if you prefer something less cultural, the tea plantation where the famous "Dragon Well Tea" is grown, formerly reserved exclusively for emperors.
Finally, after spending 5 hours in Hangzhou, we'll begin our return journey. We'll be back in Shanghai 10 hours later. Upon arrival, we can drop you off at your hotel or at another location of your choice.
