Are you ready to explore one of Portugal’s most beautiful cities in a different way? At the designated time, we’ll meet at Travessa João Deus 4, where we’ll start our tuk-tuk tour of Sintra. Along the route, we’ll discover different spots from the comfort of this electric vehicle.
First, we’ll ride through the prettiest streets of Sintra’s historic center and then head to the Fonte da Sabuga. After learning why this fountain is so well known, we’ll continue by tuk-tuk to the Biester Palace, a spectacular 19th-century mansion famous for its beautiful gardens.
Our next stop will be the Miradouro da Amizade. We’ll take in its lovely views and then continue on to the Moorish Castle, a striking medieval fortress perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by lush vegetation.
The route then takes us to the famous Pena Palace, a former residence of the Portuguese royal family and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll see its eye-catching pink, yellow, and red tones from the outside and learn why these bold colors were chosen for its decoration.
Finally, after 1 hour of touring, we’ll wrap up this tuk-tuk tour by returning to the meeting point.
